★ She is disciplined, hard-working and serious when it's about Kendo. She's given a lot of her years into it, so she takes practicing very seriously as well as every club activity. She is playful and friendly with others in the club but is just as strict during practice hours. Once was seen scolding a freshman for not bowing while entering the dojo. Etiquette is very important to her.

★ During lessons she sits by herself, sometimes taking notes sometimes drawing things on her text book (A companion cube, Deadpool, Batman signal over Mars at a bat-rocket heading into the space). She hasn't been picked up on any teacher yet.

★ She was bullied in her old school in Japan, so has a slight complex about eating with others. Usually brings her own food and eats at a secret spot where no one bothers to come. If she goes out with close friends, she doesn't mind.

★ She's playful and easily entertained, especially if the person she's talking to is also into the things she likes. She can go on hours and hours about her hobbies and interests. Also loves to cosplay, she usually goes for characters like Black Widow who have fighting skills and likes to perform on days like Halloween. It's usually for fun.

★ She loves to learn new things, and explore new places. She has an interest in History but not so much to dig into it. She has an idea about everything but only in little pieces, so when she meets someone who's an expert on something, she likes to ask them all about it.

After being bullied by the kids in her class in elementary/junior high school, Marino moved in with her father who was working in Korea when she was 13 years old. Leaving Japan was difficult first but she studied with a tutor to improve her Korean quickly. She won a gold medal in Kendo during highschool. Still keeps in contact from her friends in the Kendo club in highschool. She picked to study physics because of her physics teacher in highschool, who had been an idol for her. She visits Japan during summer holidays but mostly keeps in contact with her mother who remarried, through Skype. She's an only child. She has a good financial background.
